No 'daffodils'. There's no legally compelling reason to force me, and it makes a mockery of editorial independence to try. If the NZ Film Commission are honestly attempting to convey that the Government has told them that my 2030 screenplay is unproduceable, I think that's a load of bullshit.
The NZFC has editorial independence, and I'm sure that Minister Goldsmith values such ideas as free speech and free expression holding power to account.
If I had to say why I'm not engaged in the Māori course, this bullshit would top the list.
